DESCRIPTION:The College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka (CCPSL) proudly announces the Public Health Summit and 31st Annual Academic Sessions 2026. This milestone event will celebrate a century of community health in Sri Lanka while focusing on life course actions for future wellbeing. \nCall for Abstracts: Now Open! We are currently accepting abstracts for the 2026 academic sessions. Researchers and public health professionals are invited to submit their work under two main categories: \nCategory 1: Original Research  \n\n\nOriginal research studies using primary or secondary data. \n\n\nSystematic reviews/meta-analysis. \n\n\nNote: Category 1 abstracts will be considered for special awards\, including the Dr. Ranjan De Sylva Research Award and the Dr. N.W. Vidyasagara Research Award. \n\n\nCategory 2: Innovative Public Health Initiatives \n\n\nNew initiatives in public health. \n\n\nEvaluations of current public health programs. \n\n\nBest practices. \n\n\nCase studies/projects. \n\n\nKey Thematic Tracks\nAbstracts are invited under the following track themes across the life course: \n\n\nNurturing foundations of wellbeing from safe motherhood to early childhood  \n\n\nStrengthening wellbeing across adolescence and reproductive years  \n\n\nEnhancing work force health\, wellbeing and resilience  \n\n\nSafeguarding health and wellbeing in elderly  \n\n\nHealth security\, resilient health systems\, universal health coverage and planetary health for wellbeing  \n\n\nEquity\, Inclusion & Social determinants across the life course leaving no one behind  \n\n\n(Important: At least one of the authors should be a member of the CCPSL\, though this is not a mandatory requirement for international researchers ). \n\nImportant Deadlines & Links\n\n\nAbstract Submission Deadline: 07th April 2026  \n\n\nSubmission Portal: https://abstracts.ccpsl.lk \n\n\nFull Abstract Submission Guidelines (PDF): View and Download Guidelines Here
