DESCRIPTION:The CCPSL Talent Show 2026 was held on the afternoon of 23 July 2026 during the Annual Academic Sessions at Hotel Galadari\, Colombo. \nThe programme featured 12 performances including group songs\, cultural presentations\, dances\, duets and dramatic performances\, with more than 90 participants ranging from MSc trainees to senior consultants. \nThe event strengthened fellowship and collegiality across generations of the College and attracted an audience of approximately 250 participants.

SUMMARY:Public Health Summit & 31st Annual Academic Sessions 2026
DESCRIPTION:The College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka held the Public Health Summit and 31st Annual Academic Sessions 2026 at Hotel Galadari\, Colombo\, as part of the centenary year programme. \nThe Public Health Summit\, under the theme ‘Shaping Well-Being Across the Life Course’\, brought together public health professionals\, policymakers\, national health leaders\, academics\, development partners\, civil society and national and international experts. Around 400 participants attended the first day alone. \nThe Summit examined wellbeing from the first 1\,000 days through adolescence\, working life and healthy ageing\, while also addressing community empowerment\, commercial determinants of health\, climate change\, pandemic preparedness\, One Health\, health-system resilience and planetary health. \nThe Annual Academic Sessions featured 210 accepted abstracts: 166 research abstracts and 44 best-practice abstracts. The programme included 51 oral presentations and 159 poster presentations across nine oral sessions and 32 poster panels. \nThe sessions created a major national platform for sharing evidence\, innovation and best practices in public health and concluded with stakeholder engagement focused on translating discussion into future action. \nEvent Gallery
