Abstract Submissions are Now Open!
The College of Community Physicians of Sri Lanka is officially accepting abstracts for the upcoming Public Health Summit and 31st Annual Academic Sessions 2026.
Join us from the 22nd to the 24th of July 2026 at the Galadari Hotel Colombo to celebrate and contribute to our milestone theme: “100 Years of Community Health: Advancing Life Course Action for Future Health and Well-Being”.
⏳ Abstract Submission Deadline: 07th April 2026
Submission Categories
We are inviting abstract submissions under two main categories:
- Category 1: Original Research
- Focuses on original research studies using primary or secondary data, as well as systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
- Category 1 abstracts will be considered for four prestigious special awards, including the Dr. Ranjan De Sylva Research Award and the Dr. N.W. Vidyasagara Research Award.
- Category 2: Innovative Public Health Initiatives
- Focuses on new initiatives in public health, evaluations of current programs, best practices, and case studies or projects.
- These should highlight evidence-based public health interventions showcasing successes, barriers, and lessons learnt.
Key Thematic Tracks
Abstracts are invited under the following track themes across the life course:
- Nurturing foundations of wellbeing from safe motherhood to early childhood
- Strengthening wellbeing across adolescence and reproductive years
- Enhancing work force health, wellbeing and resilience
- Safeguarding health and wellbeing in elderly
- Health security, resilient health systems, universal health coverage and planetary health for wellbeing
- Equity, Inclusion & Social determinants across the life course leaving no one behind
(Please note: At least one of the authors must be a member of the CCPSL, though this is not mandatory for international researchers.)
